More Autumn Shots.

I also went to cissbury ring in worthing with my parents last weekend. Again another beautifully sunny autumnal day, and super cold. I do love to wrap up in my coat, gloves, scarf and ear muffs. The views were amazing, you could see the isle of wight from the top. A small red plane was flying overhead doing loop-the-loops. Such a lovely day and it really built up the appetite for the sunday roast.

I do love Autumn time.

It's been a long long time since I've been able to get out and about to snap some shots having started my new job as a VM in topshop chichester. But am now using my weekends to get out with my camera and see a little bit more of sussex. Couple of weekends ago I went to Leith Hill in Dorking with Kerry, last minute decision as it was pouring with rain all morning. However, the afternoon beautifully cheered up and I got some lovely autumnal photos. See below.

Catching.A.Ray.Of.Sunshine.

My last trend to photograph was 'Strikingly Intense.' This trend is all about colour and I wanted to do the shoot in the arboretum, a stunning park in Notts. The sunshine, rolling green hills and blush pink blossom trees all make for a perfect location. However, the weather has been temperamental and catching a few rays of sunshine has been a bit of a challenge. However, we managed to catch a brief intermittence of clear blue skies and bright sunshine, and shot some gorgeous photographs of Sheena wearing some colourful dresses. This shoot couldn't have been timed more perfectly, as 3 hours later, the flat grey cloud had returned and the sky looked set for a rain shower. Massive thank you to Sheens, she looks stunning in saturated colour. xxxx

Stormy.Glamour.Photoshoot.

Finally got round to doing my second trend photoshoot for 'stormy glamour'. The opening of the Arkwright Building at uni was perfectly well timed. The gothic architecture is stunning and a perfect location for my monochrome trend. Massive thank you to emma for modelling for me, thought I would share a selection of them with you. xx

Sun.Sea.Sand.

After the first photoshoot, I decided that the photos would look more effective on location, and decided to take them where my original concept came from; west wittering beach, down in Chichester. Really pleased with how the photographs have turned out and will hopefully have some finals to put in my trend book. Have to say a massive thank you to kerry who modelled for me once again, the pictures may make it look like a warm summer's day but it was freezing cold and very windy but she powered through and even went into the sea and she looks stunning in every single photo.

Spontaneity is the key.

After what ended up being a longer evening than planned, I am now wading through over 400 photos of my first photo shoot of my lovely friend kerry. This was a semi-spontaneous idea as I realised that the spare room at home is half way through being decorated and is a beautifully blank canvas with bare walls and floorboards and possibly ideal as a 'location' for one or more of my trend shoots. However, it was a race against the light and I'm not entirely sure how successful the shots are with artificial lighting. But it was good to at least trial some styling and some initial shots to get used to the camera and what style of photo I wanted to get.

Nothing like home.

Finally back in the south for the Easter break (although will be working through most of it). Headed back down to west wittering beach this afternoon to get re-inspired and to step away from the stress and panic of the final project . It was pure bliss. Aimlessly wandered along the edge of the sea, snapping away with the new slr. Felt good to get out in the sea air even if it was pretty chilly. Loved photographing randomly discarded things on the beach, crabs, fish, fishing cage, shells. Really loved strolling the endless sandy beach and looking out to sea.
